Yellow Belt

Corey tested for the next belt at karate on Friday, August 5. He was so focused on the class and had been talking about getting the new belt all week. We got it all on video, of course. T.O. told him how proud he was of him.

Every since he got the new belt, he has been awesome at karate (or so I've heard....I've missed the last few classes because I'm still feeling crappy).

It's good that he now understands that there are rewards for paying attention and doing well. He's already talking about his next belt (which he won't be ready for until the first of next year)!

I saw a karate belt holder in a Lillian Vernon magazine that I think I'm going to order.
