Kept Corey home Monday and Tuesday because of this virus thing going around. We went to the doctor on Monday to confirm the virus. It's all in his nose and head and is draining into his chest, causing the cough. Doc gave us a decongestant to take to help dry up the gook in his head. You can really tell that he is not himself these days. No energy and he just wants to lie around and watch tv.
I talked to the room mom of Corey's class and apparently there were 11 kids out on Monday with virus/flu symptoms! I'm almost scared to send him back to school! Xmas break will do all the kids good to get away from the germs for a while.
