Tobey is now part of our family! We picked him up from Sandy's on Sunday. He's very affectionate and loving, and has lots of energy. It's been quite an adjustment for us all, but with any new pet, it's going to take time to get used to.
Corey plays really well with him. They run up and down the hall together, and roll around on the floor, goofing around. Tobey loves to give kisses to anyone who is near, so it's fun to watch them play.
Eventually, I'd like for Corey to have more responsibility with Tobey, but while we are potty training Tobey, Jerry and I will have to step in. Corey is not real perceptive in that area - when he needs to go potty or if he's hungry, etc. But, he's sure keen to say that Tobey is HIS dog and he's glad we got him and stuff like that. It's cute.
We had our first sleepless night last night, and I'm sure there will be many more to come, but when he later crawls into your lap and gives you that puppy dog look, you just can't help but love the little bugger!
