Yeah - no more tubes! FOllow up with Dr. Molter today, for the tubes that Corey had put in when he was 5 that still hadn't fallen out (well, one did, but the other one was stubborn), and everything looks good! Holes have healed, so that means no more tubes, and he can now swim without earplugs and we won't have to worry about that any more! I am so relieved. The last visit we had back in June, the tubes were still in and Dr. Molter was concerned that we might have to go back in and do surgery and put in new tubes if the holes that they created didn't heal on their own.
We left Children's Hospital and Corey came back to work with me while Jerry went back to work. He said it was the "best day ever". Probably because he got to leave school early, and got to go have fun at work with mommy for a little over an hour. It was kind of fun for me too - showing him where I work and introducing him to a few people who were still at work. I let him make some copies and he sat at my desk and did his homework. Too cute!
