Tie

Corey finally learned how to tie his shoes! I picked him up from Kelly's yesterday, and we did our normal routine of getting the shoes on, and he pushed me off so he could try to tie his shoes by himself. Jerry has been working with him all week, so I stepped back and watched as he was successful in tying his shoe all by himself! He was so excited! Couldn't wait to get home to tell daddy.

So, this morning, as we were getting ready to go to the eye doctor for his check up, he got his shoes out and proceeded to get both of them tied all by himself. When we got to the doctor's office, as we were sitting there waiting for the doctor to come in, he kept untying and tying his shoes, with a wide grin on his face. Pretty funny. Nice for us too, now we don't have to buy velcro shoes anymore and he can actually tie his own shoes!
